Before law school I worked in the insurance industry. I saw how claims are handled at scale — the systems carriers use, the incentives that shape adjuster decisions, and the gap between what policyholders expect and what the process actually delivers.
That’s the lens I bring to property insurance disputes. I’m not guessing at how the other side thinks; I’ve worked in that environment.
My practice is a general solo practice. First-party property — homeowners and small business claims against their own insurer for storm, hail, wind, and monsoon damage — is where I spend most of my time. I also take general litigation work and handle matters in Arizona, Minnesota, and Iowa.
